For example, if an artwork is numbered 100, it means only 100 prints will ever be created, regardless of whether you select a 30-inch, 40-inch, or 60-inch version. This ensures that every size variation remains exclusive within the total edition. Once the 100 prints are sold, the edition is permanently closed, preserving the rarity and value of each piece. New York City
I remember the excitement I felt at thirteen, traveling to New York City on my own. As I drove over the bridge, the sight of Manhattan’s skyscrapers dominating the island filled me with awe. Walking around the city with my Aunt Jane, I soaked in the energy, the buzz, and, of course, the incredible architecture.
New York City boasts some of the world’s most iconic structures, from the Statue of Liberty to the Empire State Building. This trip marked my third visit to the “Big Apple,” and I was determined to capture an image of the Chrysler Building. After exploring the city during the day, I found the perfect spot to photograph this Art Deco masterpiece just a block behind my hotel.
The sky that day inspired me to create one of my signature “White Background” images. I chose to render the Chrysler Building in high contrast black and white, a style that brings out the building’s intricate details and grandeur. Every time I look at this image, it transports me back to my first time seeing it as a young boy, rekindling the sense of wonder I felt then.
