Arches National Park in Utah is home to some of the most striking natural formations in the world, and The Window is no exception. This colossal arch, part of a twin set known as The Windows, is often referred to as "The Spectacles" due to its resemblance to a pair of glasses when viewed from certain angles. The vibrant red sandstone contrasts beautifully with the surrounding desert landscape, creating an iconic scene that draws visitors from all over. The Window not only offers breathtaking views of the park but also provides a perfect frame for the beauty of Utah’s skies.

Most visitors admire The Window from the popular viewpoint, but I decided to take a different approach. Walking through the arch to explore the other side, I ventured down the slope and turned back to see the formation in a whole new light. From this perspective, the twin arches appeared as a pair of eyes gazing back at me, framed by the soft glow of the moon in the sky. This photograph captures my goal as an artist: to see familiar sights in an entirely new way and reveal their hidden stories.
