Spiral staircases hold a timeless allure for me. Their elegant curves and flowing lines evoke patterns found in nature, creating a graphic beauty that is endlessly fascinating. On my travels, I am always on the lookout for these architectural wonders, eager to capture their unique forms and intricate designs.
During a visit to Prague, I sought out several spiral staircases, many of which were located in the city’s hotels. One particularly captivating staircase inspired my photograph, “Lost in Curves.” The design, composed of overlapping half-circles, was mesmerizing. As I peered down the staircase, I felt drawn into its endless flow of curves and intricate details, making this image one of my favorites.
