Our limited-edition artworks embody a commitment to exclusivity and artistic integrity. The edition number reflects the total number of prints made across all available sizes. For example, if an artwork is numbered 100, it means only 100 prints will ever be created, regardless of whether you select a 30-inch, 40-inch, or 60-inch version. This ensures that every size variation remains exclusive within the total edition. Once the 100 prints are sold, the edition is permanently closed, preserving the rarity and value of each piece. Mono Lake, California, USA
Mono Lake, located near the eastern Sierra Nevada in California, is one of the oldest lakes in North America, estimated to be over a million years old. This saline soda lake is famous for its unique tufa formations—towering limestone structures that emerge from the water’s surface. Mono Lake’s high salinity creates an ecosystem that supports brine shrimp and attracts migratory birds, making it a haven for both wildlife and photographers. The lake’s surreal landscape, paired with stunning sunrises and sunsets, offers endless opportunities for inspiration.
My first visit to Mono Lake was unforgettable. My friend Jeff and I woke up well before sunrise to explore this breathtaking location. As I walked down to the shoreline, the sight of the tufa formations rising from the water left me in awe. I quickly searched for the perfect spot to capture a composition that included the water, the soft glow of sunrise, and the intricate tufa structures. This photograph remains one of my older works that I hold dear, reminding me of the incredible beauty of the natural world.
