Perched high atop the structure, these stone creatures have guarded the city for centuries, adding an air of mystery and artistry to the landmark.
I was thrilled to climb the 387 steps to the top of Notre Dame, eager to witness the view and the famed gargoyles up close. Reaching the summit, I was like a child in a candy store, captivated by the intricate details and the sweeping views of Paris. Six months later, I watched in horror as the fire that devastated Notre-Dame unfolded. I felt immense gratitude that it survived, and I treasure the memory of capturing its beauty.
