Our limited-edition artworks embody a commitment to exclusivity and artistic integrity. The edition number reflects the total number of prints made across all available sizes. For example, if an artwork is numbered 100, it means only 100 prints will ever be created, regardless of whether you select a 30-inch, 40-inch, or 60-inch version. This ensures that every size variation remains exclusive within the total edition. Once the 100 prints are sold, the edition is permanently closed, preserving the rarity and value of each piece. Death Valley National Park, California, USA
Badwater Basin in Death Valley National Park is a place of extremes, holding the record as the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. This vast salt flat was formed when water from ancient Lake Manly evaporated, leaving behind a shimmering expanse of salt polygons that stretch for miles. The stark beauty of Badwater is complemented by its intense environment, with summer temperatures often exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Its surreal landscape draws visitors and photographers from around the world, eager to capture its raw, otherworldly charm.
There’s a strange allure to the harsh and barren landscape of Badwater, and this was especially true on the day I visited. With the temperature soaring to 127 degrees and fierce winds whipping across the salt flats, it felt like standing inside a blast furnace. Despite the extreme conditions, I found inspiration in the intricate patterns of the salt plains. My photograph, "Texture of Salt Plains," was created in black and white to emphasize the starkness and intensity of this forbidding yet fascinating terrain.
