Morbius Arch
$2,500.00
The Alabama Hills, a stunning landscape of rounded granite formations, have long captured the imagination of visitors and filmmakers alike. Located near Lone Pine, California, this area has served as the setting for classic westerns and adventure films. At the heart of this rugged terrain lies Mobius Arch, a beautifully curved rock formation that offers a window to the majestic Mount Whitney. Its delicate structure and sweeping views make it a must-visit for photographers and adventurers.
While working a convention in Las Vegas, I extended my trip to explore the Alabama Hills, with Mobius Arch as my main focus. Arriving early in the morning, I found the arch bathed in the soft glow of sunrise. The warm light softened the scene, creating a tranquil and timeless image. Capturing this photograph was a meditative experience, and the peaceful energy of that moment lives on in the finished work.

Ada Covered Bridge in Cheer
The Ada Covered Bridge, also known as the "Bradfield Bridge," is a charming historic structure located in Ada, Michigan. Built in 1867, this 125-foot-long bridge spans the Thornapple River and is one of the few remaining covered bridges in the state. Its unique construction and picturesque surroundings make it a beloved landmark, especially during the winter months when snow blankets the landscape and holiday lights enhance its nostalgic beauty.
While visiting Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I grew up, I stumbled upon the Ada Covered Bridge shortly after a snowfall just before Christmas. To my surprise, the bridge was illuminated with festive Christmas lights, creating a magical scene. I captured the image, which became a personal favorite. One of my close friends admired the photograph so much that they displayed it above their fireplace mantel. Every time I see it in their home, I can’t help but smile, remembering that special moment.
