Virgin River Passage
$1,100.00
Utah’s Zion National Park is a breathtaking showcase of nature’s artistry. Its towering red and white sandstone cliffs, shaped by the Virgin River, offer unparalleled views and hiking experiences. From the famous Angel’s Landing to the gentle flow of the Virgin River, Zion is a sanctuary for those seeking beauty and tranquility. The park’s unique geography, combined with its dynamic lighting and vibrant colors, provides endless inspiration for photographers.
During my visit to Zion, I discovered a pullout just before a bridge leading into the park’s interior. The timing couldn’t have been better—the setting sun illuminated the cliffs in rich, golden tones, while the Virgin River shimmered as it peeked through the surrounding trees. This scene felt like nature’s artwork, and I was thrilled to capture it at its most perfect moment.

Ada Covered Bridge in Cheer
The Ada Covered Bridge, also known as the "Bradfield Bridge," is a charming historic structure located in Ada, Michigan. Built in 1867, this 125-foot-long bridge spans the Thornapple River and is one of the few remaining covered bridges in the state. Its unique construction and picturesque surroundings make it a beloved landmark, especially during the winter months when snow blankets the landscape and holiday lights enhance its nostalgic beauty.
While visiting Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I grew up, I stumbled upon the Ada Covered Bridge shortly after a snowfall just before Christmas. To my surprise, the bridge was illuminated with festive Christmas lights, creating a magical scene. I captured the image, which became a personal favorite. One of my close friends admired the photograph so much that they displayed it above their fireplace mantel. Every time I see it in their home, I can’t help but smile, remembering that special moment.
