Aged Italian Green Doorway Charm
$1,100.00
Tuscany, a region in central Italy, is renowned for its rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and historic architecture. While larger cities like Florence and Siena are cultural treasures, the charm of Tuscany lies in its countless hill towns. These small, medieval villages perched on hilltops offer breathtaking views, cobblestone streets, and a sense of timelessness. Each town tells its own story, rich with history and tradition, making Tuscany a dream destination for photographers and travelers alike.
While Tuscany’s larger cities are captivating, I’ve always been drawn to the small hill towns that dot its picturesque landscape. During one of my explorations, I stumbled upon an old weathered green door in a quiet village. Its aged wood and faded paint hinted at a century of stories. Intrigued, I took a quick photo without thinking much of it. However, upon returning home and viewing it on my computer, I fell in love with the image. It encapsulates the beauty, history, and character of Tuscany’s hidden gems.

Ada Covered Bridge in Cheer
The Ada Covered Bridge, also known as the "Bradfield Bridge," is a charming historic structure located in Ada, Michigan. Built in 1867, this 125-foot-long bridge spans the Thornapple River and is one of the few remaining covered bridges in the state. Its unique construction and picturesque surroundings make it a beloved landmark, especially during the winter months when snow blankets the landscape and holiday lights enhance its nostalgic beauty.
While visiting Grand Rapids, Michigan, where I grew up, I stumbled upon the Ada Covered Bridge shortly after a snowfall just before Christmas. To my surprise, the bridge was illuminated with festive Christmas lights, creating a magical scene. I captured the image, which became a personal favorite. One of my close friends admired the photograph so much that they displayed it above their fireplace mantel. Every time I see it in their home, I can’t help but smile, remembering that special moment.
